I think the South African decks are pretty much like Aus. They vary from province to province, but you can generally bank on a certain deck in a particular place, weather obviously plays a part, but I think you will get your wish. Should be some good test match cricket to be played and watched.

2nd ODI tonight

Team news

India are likely to go in with three seamers and Harbhajan. It will be interesting to see if they bring in Sreesanth, who featured in the Test series, for this game. They are likely to give Yusuf a run but he might come in from the third ODI on pitches that will have less bounce.

India (possible): 1 Sachin Tendulkar, 2 M Vijay, 3 Virat Kohli, 4 Yuvraj Singh, 5 Suresh Raina, 6 Rohit Sharma, 7 MS Dhoni (capt & wk), 8 Harbhajan Singh, 9 Munaf Patel, 10 Zaheer Khan, 11 Ashish Nehra

Will the overcast conditions tempt South Africa to retain the same playing eleven or will they bring in allrounder Faf du Plessis?

South Africa (possible): 1 Graeme Smith (capt), 2 Hashim Amla, 3 Colin Ingram, 4 AB de Villiers (wk), 5 JP Duminy, 6 David Miller, 7 Johan Botha, 8 Dale Steyn, 9 Morne Morkel, 10 and 11 Any two from Wayne Parnell, Lonwabo Tsotsobe, and Faf du Plessis might get a go.

Was only a one run finish the other night, so it's not a bad idea for a few bob on INDIA, Saffies aren't paying enough to worry...

FWIW, I think the Saffies are the better side (yep, better than Sehwag, Tendulkar, Laxman), and they should romp it in...

Do you know if it's on Fox?

Pinch of piss when I'm not the one putting the money on...

Seriously though, I have never seen Raina NOT make runs in ODI or T20 cricket, so he's a lock, in a side without their guns.

Any of AB, Amla, Smith could get the high for them, hence the reason I rate them so highly, but I am really impressed with AB over the others at the moment, and sadly for my man Boucher, he's thriving with the gloves on (AB)...

Go you indians.
If the saffer chokers cant win in their own backyard they are no hope at cup.
I think they were touted as one of the favourites for cup. They wont even get to semis

Is it a waste having AB keeping for South Africa given he is such a brilliant fielder?

I didn't think he'd played that much... a medium-pace poo bowler IIRC
