Domestic Summer commences tonight with the Bulls taking on the Tigers....I for one am interested in this new format. Have we adopted the english domestic one day format or is this entirely new rules?

Joke of a format.

Disappointed Butterworth isn't in the team, and what's up with the lack of Cutting?

Cosgrove has now passed Mark Waugh and Tom Moody for most Domestic One Day Runs, he is now in the top 25.

I am effing confused.

Some of the bowlers had 11 or 12 overs...

So there's five overs less, and the bowlers can bowl more???

Does someone (I'm looking at Brod here) have a link to the rules???

FWIW, First game for new state, and Cossi looks a shoe in for MOTM

LMAO. This format was supposed to eliminate the 'tap around' overs but lo and behold that is exactly what happened once the Tiges lost a couple of wickets in their second 'innings'. At least that was what I observed during the moments when I hadn't dozed off to sleep.

Yeah, let's introduce more teeball fixtures. Yeah, let's destroy the 50 over domestic comp one year before the world cup. Yeah, let's keep on picking guys like North, Katich, Hauritz, Hussey and Clarke instead of blooding the next generation when we have the Ashes on home soil.

Australian cricket is chasing the dollar but killing the golden goose. We are in trouble boys and this fish is rotten from the head down.

regards,

REB

This had better last about as long as the super sub did.
