Mitchell Johnson, the Australia fast bowler, has identified Virender Sehwag as the main obstacle to his team's bowling attack, one he felt he can overcome by subjecting the India opener to a barrage of short balls.
"Last time when we were over here we came out and he was hitting good balls for four or six, you look up at the scoreboard and he's almost 50," Johnson said. "Sehwag is someone we can bowl a lot of short balls to. I don't think he's too confident with the short ball early."

3 century makers in the Aussie innings with North the third. Aussies made 505
Good to see George so far has 2 wickets in the Indian Board President's XI innings, stumps day 2, they are 6/143.

AU V INDIAN BORED X1
WATSON BOWLED 114
WATSON NOT OUT 104
Shane still appears to have his demons with Bowled and LBW ...
WHAT THE...
Meanwhile HUSSEY and BOLLINGER will join the team about 3 days b4 the First Test
Great preperation having 2 players playing bashathons in Africa
LATE MAL
The first pitch will be flat , low, dusty and spinny
IF INDIA WIN the first test the next pitch will be the flattest of all pitches
IF AU WIN the first test the next pitch will spin like a top
IF its a DRAW first test, a repeat on the 1st test pitch
GEAR
My advice to the lads, dont worry about wearing helmets, just stock up on shin pads

What are you talking about REB, T20 will affect One Day Cricket, not Test Cricket. BULL ******* SHIT.
Teeball>Baggy Green
**** OFF!
Teeball was invented to make money and the IPL was invented to make money and to undermine Australian Cricket and is succeeding admirably. Now we have teeball tournaments that are more important than Test match preparations. **** YOU.

REB

Yes, batting and bowling against world class opposition is a terrible prep.

Shut up it's evil! The IPL was formed with the intention of undermining Australian cricket! Personally I'm all for players earning $500K-$1m for two months work. Good luck to them. I don't see too many complaints about the fact this two Test series against India was created purely to make money given the tour was only originally meant to be a one-day series.
Test cricket = good
T20 cricket = bad

MICHAEL CLARKE quotes on COUNTRY B4 IPL CLASH
Australian vice captain MC believes cricketers must make wiser choices b4 they complain about the demands made on them by a hectic schedule
For me we all have a choice. You dont have to play IPL, you dont have to play Champions League
For me right now its representing my country and every game I have to play for AU, Im going to do that
Thats my priority. If, as an individual, you're tired or your body needs a rest, well, you need to outside of international cricket, maybe play less in the IPL, or play less in the Champions League, to honour your comittments as an international cricketer representing your country
BOLLINGER-HUSSEY
The toughest thing for them, getting used to the conditions, is in the pitch, change of format and then how hot it is
________________________________________________________________________________
Well spoken by Clarke, a player who does not partake in the bashagigglethons
Does ask the question, should Bollinger and Hussey, be made to join the rest of the team earlier, and miss the later IPL finals ?
Dhoni, Raina and Vijay are also just coming back from the IPL
Both sides affected by the IPL
For India its thier skipper who is gallivanting around the world, making matters even worse

Pup is able to get on his high horse like this because he bats too slowly to be bought for big bucks during events like IPL.

Can you get the stat Brod...?
Something about the lowest strike rate over a certain number of runs?
I think the only slower batsman was Nathan Bracken...

103.96 - MJ Clarke - T20I strike rate. (Only Shiv Chanderpaul (98.84) has a lower srtike rate having scored over 300 T20I runs)
