England v Australia 5th ODI

Geez I wish Tait would consider his decision to quit First Class cricket. Surely If he is managed right he could give it one last go. I would love to see him retire with a few more tests under his belt than what he has now.

Who said ODI's are dead. I have really enjoyed this series even though we have lost it. I don't think it needs revamping, just better scheduling.

Brilliant recovery by Hussey & Marsh when 220 was likely 1/2 way thru the inngs.
Eng 5/110 (26 overs)
Collingwood 55*
Tait 2/28 in 1st spell of 4 overs and also cracked the 100 mph (161 kmh) mark with 1 ball.
Even had the pommie commentators getting excited.

Shaun Tait is the sort of guy you want in your side.

He might go one or two games without a huge impact, then all of a sudden, he'll win you a match with a four or five over burst.

Worth playing... Rather see him than playing S. Smith purely for the sake of playing a spinner.

Didn't see his whole innings, but the six he clipped over mid wicket early on during Tait's first spell was simply superb.
One of the few Poms over recent years that you can respect as a top competitor.

Also Tait has said that he hasn't given First Class/Test cricket away.
Ponting definitely wants him playing, but he would have to do a lot to convince selectors this time round.
