Does that say more about the state of ODI's, or the state of mind of the Indians revelling in their number 1 Test status?

Geez I hope we can pull off a win in at least one of those Tests.

i find it puzzling that they found a spot for Josh Hazlewood on this tour, he hasent done well at State level yet, i think his best bowling is about 3/100 and you got Ben Cutting who dominated with the ball last year getting about 50 wickets

Selectors are just following in the tradition of ranking obscure NSW players ahead of stars from the other states ;)

I read a release that indicated he is a development player and heading over for the experience, as well as being the back up bowler (and let's face it, we always need the back up quicks nowadays, fragile princesses that they are).

"I just wasn't there mentally and physically," he said. "I felt a little bit off."

The Umpire Decision Review System (UDRS) will not be used for the India-Australia Tests in October. "There won't be any UDRS in the series. We have already written to the International Cricket Council," the BCCI's chief administrative officer Ratnakar Shetty told PTI

What a joke, either use it for all series or none.

These names worry me. How will they go in India?, I'm not too confident.

I reckon Hughes and Smiffy might go allright. More Bluebaggers, that's what's required here! Piss North off, bring in Hughes and get him to open with The Kat. Move Watto down the order and there's your side.

The Indians will produce flat or spinning decks
There will be little bounce, swing, and sideways movement for the quicks
The Mr Sheen on the new ball usually disapeers after about 5 balls ..

IF we get those pitches AGAIN then I have no doubt MJ will be the leading wicketaker of the AU quicks

IF WATTO opens he will make about 195 runs for the tour
IF he bats 6 he will make about 81 runs for the tour becoz of the spinners and grubbers he will have to face

Hughes won't IMO and Smith might, depending if the Indian batsman respect him enough when they face him, I reckon they will make life as hard as possible for him.

I would like to see them stick with Watson and Katich at the top of the order, they have very different batting techniques and they've been together for a while now. IMO it will be hard for another operner to come in and create a partnership these two already have.
