lets hope Klinger makes better use of the bowling rotations then Manpoo did

I do feel this is a good appointment, lets hope it doesnt have a negative impact on his batting.

Wicketkeeping and Captaining in all 3 forms of cricket is a very hard task
Graham has done a reasonable job skippering in the past
However his form with the bat last season was ordinary
His keeping was good from what I saw

Manou needs to bat 6 or 7
Without the captaincy to burden him, he will most likely improve his batting next season

As for Klinger captaining
I am reticent about giving skippership to players who are in career best form
Hopefully it wont affect his batting form
Having said that, someone has to captain the team

Also Klinger being captain will guarentee him a spot in the team early in the season ....

The last time we had a Victorian as skipper of this state, look what happened...

So has Klinger been appointed captain for the t20s aswell? Im guessing Fergy will captain the t20s but if Klinger gets selected, who ends up captaining?

You'd expect Klinger to captain all 3 forms if picked, but I wouldn't be suprised if Ferg got the gig for T20's.

I thought I heard them say on the ABC news when this happened that he will captain the Redbacks at the Champions League in South Africa in September?
