IPL 2010: Aussie Watch

Postby Gozu » Thu Mar 11, 2010 2:36 am

I thought it might be a good idea to do an Aussie Watch thread for the IPL this year which starts on Friday night on One HD. Personally I don't really care who wins or loses and just prefer to follow the progress (good or bad) of our guys throughout the tournament.

The Australians on IPL teams this season are:

Chennai Super Kings: George Bailey, Matthew Hayden, Michael Hussey, Doug Bollinger**.

Deccan Chargers: Adam Gilchrist (c), Ryan Harris, Mitchell Marsh, Andrew Symonds.

Delhi Daredevils: Moises Henriques, Andrew McDonald, Dirk Nannes, David Warner.

Kings XI Punjab: James Hopes, Brett Lee, Shaun Marsh.

Kolkata Knight Riders: Brad Hodge, David Hussey.

Mumbai Indians: Luke Ronchi

Rajasthan Royals: Damien Martyn, Shaun Tait, Adam Voges, Shane Warne (c), Shane Watson, Aaron Finch*.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Steven Smith, Cameron White.

* Aaron Finch has been signed and Damien Martyn was cut from the squad.
** Doug Bollinger has been signed and will join the squad after the NZ tour.

I didn't see it but that is a great effort if so, 2/12 from 4 overs is outstanding.
