Michael Slater predicted it during the last match of the Australian tour.
Flying back to the Caribbean and playing only days after returning from Oz would be a big challenge.
But still....

If they keep these ridiculous schedules, you will find more of the elite players like C.Gayle being rested. If Gayle played, could of been a different result. You cant expect a team to fly out of Australia on Wednesday and play a game on Sunday in Trinidad. I think it's more of a case of the ICC sinking to a new low.

Whether they were jet lagged or not and whether Gayle would have made a difference they made 79 off 20 overs that is terrible.

Chanderpaul and Barath weren't jet lagged as they weren't here for the one day and T20 games.

Gayle is the best T20 player in the world, If he batted for 5 overs they would of won. Australia rested there best player last night in Watson and lost. There is a fine line in T20 to winning or losing, one or two players being rested and ridiculous scheduling doe's make a difference.

So the inept performance of the windies is because of the scheduling.................you can't be serious. They had 11 players on the park the same as zimbabwe, hell they even had them 4/11 at one stage and still lost.
