TA 6/304
DIGHTON 80[91] whatta time to get his best score of the year, no technique but hits them well
PAINE 100 [118] has improved his o/d form, now easily the 2nd pick keeper in the land
COWAN 61[55] cant believe he could score at a s/r of 110, must be a flat deck !!! good player
LOCKYEAR 28* [13] sensational talent
MCDONALD 3/60[10]
HODGE 0/25[3]

TA has made 300+ twice this season vrs VI and still not won a game against them
3rd time lucky ?

So Tassie go from bottom to Champs in a couple of games?

That is a fair Aussie list there Cadet, it is a bit rough that these blokes can play for their states all year but don't get to play in the final.

Would of made for more of a spectacle to have full strenghth teams. Birt was in NZ didn't play 1st game, fielded 3 balls today and didnt bat, will be back in oz early tomorrow morning. McKay wasn't allowed to play, flew out today for NZ. ODI's start Wednesday surely he could of left for NZ tomorrow morning. Most likely will carry the drinks on Wednesday anyway. Final was on Fox sports and for some time was up against the T20 game. They wonder why no one go's to the 50 over game, surley trying to schedule it better would be a start.

If it were full strength teams for everything then it would be NSW that would win everything and you all know it.

Good to see Paine do well in a big game. As Mal said he has proved he is next in line with the gloves for Australia beyond doubt.

Mid way thru the summer I had thought WADE was almost the equal of PAINE
Mr REB disagreed with me
REB is right, PAINE is again clearly 2nd best
PAINEs form in the shorter games from EG onwards is top notch

WADE
Age - 22 years 65 days
First Class - 29 Matches, 2 - 100's, Ave - 40.15, Ct 117, St 2.
FR - 16 Matches, HS 67, Ave - 30.46, Ct 16, St 2.

PAINE
Age - 25 years 83 days
First Class - 35 Matches, 1 - 100, Ave - 30.84, Ct 96, St 3.
ODI's -17 Matches, 1 - 100, Ave - 30.43, Ct 22, St 4.
FR - 64 matches, 5 - 100's, Ave 35.64, Ct 72, St 9.

Haddin will go 1 or 2 more years, Paine is slighty in front as he has performed in the ODI's. I think Wade looks the better keeper ( I know he dropped a catch yesterday ). Will be an interesting to see who prevails.

I have yet to see you 'rule' against a Victorian. Take off the blinkers.

paines keeping is terrible and i think he is quite overrated - even in the final he dropped a catch off dighton, missed a stumping off dighton and missed a stumping off krejza.

during the big bash i lost count of the amount of stumpings he missed from both krejza and doherty
