Future options for Redbacks

I think the Redbacks need to make a concerted effort to bring back Ryan Harris. Imagine our bowling line up with him spearheading it next year, not to mention his handy batting at domestic level. SACA need to swallow their pride, admit they got it wrong and bring him home, what ever the cost. He may not want to bowl at Adelaide anymore after having the Gabbba though.

Another move I think should happen in light of Choc's poor season this year is to appoint Doc Harris as captain. Let Choc concentrate on his batting, his keeping takes care of itself. I think Doc has come on enough this year and reakon he would do a good job.

Is it better to let Doc settle in further? He could play for Australia if his current form continues. Perhaps what we need is to have a skipper who will be a solid contributor for the state at ALL times - i.e. not in contention for an Australian spot. That may be Choc, it may be someone else. Not sure who though.

Rhino is not coming back though, sadly. His life is in Qld now, I suspect even his old man will move there soon enough.

I'm pretty sure Ryan Harris signed a three year deal with the Bulls.

As nice as it would be, he is gone.
Get over it and get on with it.
Haberfiled, George and Duval is the future. With a spiner like O'brien.
Hopefully Dan Christain continues for a while yet. As for the keeper, well Manou.....Ludeman is no bad so Manou's my want to stay at number 7 in the order or 8 and watch his own form.

Correct. The Redbacks offered him a one year contract. The Bulls offered him a three year contract.

It was a no brainer for the big man. We're no chance of getting him back, plus why would he want to come back now?
