How many we allowed? And no, I'm not talking about our initial 30 man squad! 18 or so isn't it, perhaps a few less?
My squad (of 18) in bold.
The certainties (assuming they're fit):
Ponting
Clarke
Watson
Haddin
White
Johnson
Marsh
Bollinger*
Siddle* (just about prepared to place these guys in here)
M Hussey
Strong chance:
Hopes
Paine (back-up keeper)
Hauritz (a lot can change with spinners)
Ferguson
Warner (should hopefully be a more well-rounded player in 1.5 years time)
Voges (please no)
Hilfenhaus (not really an ODI bowler though...)
McKay
Bolters/suprises:
Butterworth
Laughlin
Bailey
Henriques
Holland
Smith
Absolutely clueless:
Lee
Bracken
Nannes
D Hussey (getting very old)

Henriques (He'll probably get the nod but I think he's a bit over-rated)

Siddle
McKay (Bracken)
Hauritz
Haddin
I reckon Warner might have fallen out of favour with the national selectors. I like your squad but I'm not sure it's the line of thinking the selectors will take.
I think Phil Hughes would have to come into consideration.
I would like to see Starc get some specialist training with the Aussies somewhere in the next 12 months along with Hazelwood.

LM IMO i think Bracken will not play again for Australia! He has not played for a long time now, and before his injury, i think he was getting found out with his bowling and is now not as useful as a McKay, Laughlin with the old ball, or a Hilf or Douggie with the new ball

I thought he was just injured or lost his hair tie.

I'll wait, long way off, could be plenty of long term injuries and retirements before then

I thought you would've chucked the boy from the 'Gong in, Ponting. Residentially doesn't he qualify for NSW now??

I guess throw Ryan Harris into the mix and maybe even Hazelwood.

1. Watson
2. Marsh
3. Ponting
4. Clarke
5. White
6. Hussey
7. Haddin
8. Johnson
9. Hauritz
10. McKay
11. Bollinger
12. Ferguson
13. Hopes
14. Siddle
15. Butterworth
If Lee proves his fitness, I'd take him over Siddle.
Harris/Smith/Warner/Paine in the mix too.

It would be great if Ferguson makes it, but I would think with his time off recuperating, he may take a while to retain form, and he may not have enough time to show the form required to make the squad. I hope he does though.

One good season a career does not make.
O'Brien? In our best 15?

need a new young keeper and I would take wade from victoria to back up haddin.
gun young left hander batsman, can open in one day and 20/20, opened for tasmania
in under 19 carnival 2 years ago. going to be a keeper for australia one day, so lets take
him away now and see how its done even if he does not play a game. big fan of wade.

Most people on this site know a bit about him thanks to Mal especially.
Paine and Wade are very hard to separate at the moment and 2010 and 11 shape as big seasons for these 2 keepers.

saw wade open the batting for tas in u19 carnival a few seasons ago when watching game for saca.
reported to the boys club he could play and they then let him get signed by vic. more smart stuff by the
boys in suits at north adelaide. ludeman is a great young keeper though so with luck will get the job done
when mr selfish retires or is pushed. saca did well with rino harris as well by not giving him a 2 year contract.
another smart move by the boys in the club at north adelaide. whatever mal has written in the past on here
listen to him as this kid can play.
