NS 4/194
Ended up a piss poor effort
NS 0/91 [6]
then made 4/103 off14 overs, thats a dissapointing finish
David Warner
When he does not have to think and just decides to bash he is absolutely awesome
Warner made the fastest big bash 50 in domestic history
50 off 18 balls
George Bailey had the record off 18 balls
Warner 67[25] and the score 1/97 off 6.4 overs
Hughes 71*[49] was quick early, but his lack of 6 hitting power let him down
HenREBiques 37[28] too technically correct for big bash and unfortunately ordinary at this format
Matthew Mott the Blues coach needs a rethink
To have his biggest hitters
S SMITH
B ROHRER
Dan SMITH
face 5 balls between them was a cardinal sin
I know its a relatively new format but you gotta use your resources to maximum capacity
Recruit Rana 2/41[4] was smashed early but his death bowling was very good
TA will need big efforts from\
Lockyear
Bailey
Birt
Paine will be too correct at this game
NSW to win this

Tim Paine
OUT
48 off 18
needed to hit 2 to equal Warners record and gets out [CHOKER

]
I said he was too correct to be a 20/20 basher
I was wrong, he batted better than Warner did
I was wrong
I was wrong
I was wrong
I was wrong
TA 2/88 [7]
Boom Boom Birt is in, he is the key get him out cheap and its game on

TA all out 163
Steve Smith 4/13[4] outstanding effort, awesome talent in the shorter games
Im stunned that Gerard Denton got a game b4 Drew
And Dighton was missed, must be injured

Big difference between 4 overs in T20 and first class cricket but didn't Smith look OK tonight? Nice high non-bowling arm, nice shape, good seam and plenty of work (rotations) on the nut.
Still a long way to go as it was plain to see that he needs to work on his variations (weren't up to the same sandard as his stock ball) but as they kept on saying tonight the sessions he's been having with Warne seem to be working. His stock ball - the standard leggies looks OK and a good base to develop from. He'll need more than that at the sharp end though.
