Probably doesn't hurt that there is a 7 day break in between Test Matches.

It doesnt...but if Siddle has injuried a Hamstring then 7 days wont allow him to fully recover. Clark should of came back into the squad. Although it dosent really matter, if they need him they'll pick him.
Also I hear Watson is carriying a niggle, not a injury, but a slight niggle. Hilfenhaus still is not 100% fit at the moment.
Now we all know you cant go into a game with injury clouds over bowlers. Hence if siddle is not 100% then Clark should come into the team.

My team for the 3rd Test:

Watson (If hes got a niggle, dont fricken bowl him!!!)
Katich
Ponting
Hussey
Clarke
North
Haddin
Hauritz
Johnson
Clark
Bollinger

12th McKay

WHATS YOUR PROBLEM ADVERTSER 10/12/2009
RE: FRANK WORRELL TROPHY

Writer asked this question
Can you please tell me a bit about the Frank Worrell trophy that AU +WI are playing for in the current series ?

Answer
The trophy is named after former WI capt FW and was first awarded at the end of the 1960-61 test series between the 2 teams.
Along with the ashes, the FW trophy is considered to be one of the most respected trophies in world cricket.
Since its inception, AU has won the trophy on 11 occasions and the WI 9.
The WI won the trophy 8 consecutive times between 1977-1993, but AU won the trophy in the 1994-95 series and has retained it since.
If AU wins the current series, it will take the number of consecutive series wins to 8, matching the dominance of the WI in the late 70s, 80s and esarly 90s.

QUESTION
Is winning and Ashes series or a Worrell series more significant than the world cricket ratings
It was brought up during the 2nd Test
AU by drawing in the 2nd test in Adelaide stays in the 4th spot in world rankings, and missed the opportunity to get up the ladder

My opinion is win each series, retain or regain trophies, and let the world rankings be the cream that rises to the top

What kind of a pitch will be prepared
Will it be the Street we had vrs India
The Avenue we had vrs South Africa
Or will it be a similar pitch to the one in 1972 when AU played the Rest Of The World

FLASHBACK TO THE OLD PERTH PITCH
1972
DK LILLIE playing against the Rest Of The World team
The Perth Pitch was a fast bowlers haven
DK asbsolutely killed them
8/29
Folklore has it that DK was feeling off colour
Ian Chappell kept bowling him
In an amazing part of his 8/29 included 6/0 in 15 balls
Remarkable
6 wickets in 15 balls for no runs

I know a lad called Panther, a real good ocker mate
Whenever we are out and he sees a woman with big tits floppin around he would say
" Shes got more bounce than the Perth Pitch."

Lets hope the curator produces that bouncy pitch
Not the tripe we have had in recent times for the vendors selling hot dogs , ice creams and drinks
Yep Franchise cricket, open up a stall and we guarentee a 5 day wicket and maximum profits
Who gives a rats arse about the bowlers who continue to break down incessively

PS
DK was born 18/7/1949
Exactly 101 years after the birth of another great great cricketer who once faced the Jonah and made folklore
Who was that great great man ?

Young Kemar might just want to settle down a little bit with the WACA pitch. Many bowlers have come to Perth and failed. The WACA will be fast and bouncy, but value for shots is second to none as well!

Why are we playing Siddle? Surely he can't be right!

I'd say Matthew Richardson's hamstrings would be more reliable at the moment.

ROACH might be a handful, but he is only 1 bowler

With Sulieman Benn fronting up this week, I think his bounce might cause some headaches.

Who was the last tall spinner to play at the WACA? Pat Simcox???

Man of Steel ha ha like that one. Beating the bat of Mr Snicket is hardly an effective fitness test though. My question is this: Which selectors' wife has Stuart Clark been Tiger Wooding? Geeves???
