The most suprising thing about the score so far is Doran getting a wicket.
I have never seen this bloke get a wicket. He is a spud.
WI batting must be deplorable if he is getting wickets!

W.I. lose a good batsmen but a positive is that they'll benefit by not having to put up with his shit captaincy.

Well he is in a good patch of form then, usually its 6 an over without a wicket

had another look it was 4.65 RPO (which youre right is good) his FC career is 4.75RPO.
Looking at his career stats you would tend to be spot on CK
30 matches
40 wickets @ 60.92
76.8 s/rate
4.75 RPO
3/33 BBI

Why would a Cullen Bailey not try his luck there? he is young and can bat.
There must be a lack of spinners BIG time in QLD cricket if he continues to get a game.
Shocking career to date, lets hope he can turn it around a bit!

Probably says more about West Indies' long-time weakness against spin bowling than Doran's bowling. Bob Holland anyone? Allan Border?

Three maiden first class centurions in this innings. Surely that is some sort of record.
Good things the two most gifted batsmen in that line-up Hartley and Carseldine didn't get a start.

LOL Hartely a 'gifted' batsman. While he can bat I wouldn't say he was a 'gifted' batsman. Can be downright ugly (not that there's anything wrong with that).
As for the Windies I have a confession to make. For the first time in many years I won't be off to the Gabba to see the Test match. This mob just don't provide decent value and I reckon many Queenslanders will vote with their feet. The Windies are so bad these days they should be sent to Townsville, Cairns and Darwin in a top end tour during the footy season.

REB

Just had a look at Adrian Barath's profile as he is on 73 not out in the tour game.
At only 19 could be a top player for he West Indies. The first time the cricket world heard of Adrian Barath was when Brian Lara took a 17-year-old to England to watch a few matches between England and West Indies, and to be his guest at a function at Lord's in 2007. Barath, a short-statured opening batsman, had caught the West Indian legend's eye while batting in the nets at the Queen's Park Oval when he was only 11 years old. Considered to be one of the most promising young batting talents in the Caribbean, Barath was playing in the Trinidad Under-13 team in 2001 and led the side in 2002. He broke into the U-15 side at 13 and played for three seasons. Barath made his first-class debut for Trinidad in January 2007, scoring 73 against Guyana and two centuries in successive matches against Leewards and Windwards Islands soon followed. He was part of the West Indies U-19 team for the 2008 World Cup and consistent success at domestic level earned him a spot in the West Indies A team against the touring England side in January 2009. He made it count, scoring a hundred against an attack which included James Anderson, Stephen Harmison and Ryan Sidebottom. Many considered Barath unlucky to miss out on the tour of England that followed but his first call-up to the Test squad came soon after, against Bangladesh at home.
