Ross Taylor been linked to Victoria
What an absolute farce
Should be like the AFL footy should be a deadline as to when players can be drafted
Dan Vettori to play 1-2 games for Qld as well ?
Futher detriment to 20/20 cricket
I like watching it
But I had thought it was state vrs state
Whilst we are talking NZ recruits
Will Brendan Mcullum get a call up for one of the Grand finallists this year as well ?
I propose new teams with zone boundaries next season
WA -South Africa
SA - England
QL - India
NS -Pakistan
VI - West indies
TA -New Zealand
CANBERRA -Sri Lanka
NT - Bangladesh
2015/2016 season rules
Minimum of 10 international players per team
1 AU player per team maximum permitted

Possibly but the victorians weren't to know that Tanvir was going to pull out at the last minute, so they needed to go out and get a replacement.

So replacing a fast bowler with a batsman is logical ?
How about the best 20/20 batting line up stick with thier awesome batting line up
Vics already have Bravo as an extra hitter this season
Hate to be the player missing out
Ross is a fine player, but the drafting of players is becoming a concern
Its no longer a true Domestic Comp

Mal it is T20, who cares. It isn't cricket, it's a recreation pursuit designed to entertain the masses and make money for the TV networks and the ACB.
let them have interchanges in the game for all I care.

LM
Big Bird played about 3/4 of the season
Sobers and Richards played full seasons
The recruiting of those players was OK[and a pleasure to watch as well]
The recruiting of players like Ross Taylor and Andrew Johns to play 1-2 games is the concern in any format
PS

Yeah it is an interesting discussion, I think the invitation to play off in the champions trophy has brought about the introduction of foreign players. I do wonder is there going to be a limit eventually, I guess not if they change the format as proposed.

Theres this guy playing for the Deccan Chargers who made 38 off 17 balls in the IPL last weekend
Would be a good recruit for the Domestic Big Bash.
Adam gilCHRIST
Would a Domestic team consider recruiting him ?

Warriors tried this year to have him partner Chris Gayle at the top of the order. Adam Gilchrist said he did not want to play in Australian Domestic cricket aswell as the IPL, as he might as well come out of retirement then!

I don't think we will see the likes of Andrew Johns do guest appearances in the T20 anymore, way to much money up for grabs to have celebraties maybe costing the side a win.

Naved-ul-Hasan, the Pakistan fast bowler, has renewed his contract with Tasmania, whom he represented in the Twenty20 Big Bash during the Australian domestic season. Naved was banned for one year by the PCB due to disciplinary reasons, but was eligible to play domestic cricket and in foreign leagues. He is also negotiating a contract with Sussex to participate in the English domestic season later in the year.
