Is Adelaide Oval too batsman friendly ?
I do declare....
Since we reverted back to the SS 2 seasons ago we have also seen very good batting decks
B4 that for a few seasons it did help the bowlers a bit more ?

Sides listed first batted first

2008/2009
VI 6/473 + 151
SA 7/357 + 7/176
DRAW

SA 313 + 5/300
NSW 576
DRAW

WA 309 + 6/247
SA 9/479
DRAW

SA 6/489 + 7/143
QL 8/300 + 313
SA OUTRIGHT

TA 301 + 9/289
SA 253 + 5/338
SA OUTRIGHT

2009/2010

TA 236 + 184
SA 345 + 1/76
SA OUTRIGHT

SA 292 + 3/340
VI 9/643
DRAW

SA 5/477 + 2/159
QL 308 + 5/223
DRAW

8 matches
24 innings in the first 3 digs with 12 declared innings = 50% of all innings closed
Too many ?

Good news SA have not been beaten outright in the last 2 seasons
Bad news 3 wins + 5 draws

The last 2 games SA has made 10/976

I think we need to put some spunk in it for the bowlers
Spinners have found it very difficult

Too batting friendly ?
YES

Not sure what this has to do with King William Road.

You can run, but you can't Hyde (Park).

It may have been a draw, but SA did certainly have the wood(ville) on Qld for most of the game.

How Good wood it be if we won, I'd like to see Smith field in the gully. I was watching them after the game when I seen Coopers Ale tip out all over the floor.

You reckon Adelaide Oval is a road. The SCG has been a run fest so far this year. Tas 3/250 chasing 8/430. NSW can't win the Shield with five matches on that.

i think it is the state of most pitches os far this season

there have been heaps of one innings matches so far this season - not good for cricket
