Redbacks sign Pollard

The redbacks have signed West Indian Kieran Pollard for the T20s. Great move after signing Afridi the other day.

MAYBE THIS FORMAT
LATE DEC/MID JAN
It should be 5 games between the states, no imports with a domestic final
MID JAN/FEB
Then a secondary comp, with a no limit on recruits for a world cup of qualifiers
It should be 5 games as well
Otherwise its not state vrs state anymore, and rivalrys are not as intense
Also the way things are going we may have to introduce a salary cap on imports !

T20 is purely entertainment and about winning (dollars) and trying to qualify for the Champions League by making the final of the Big Bash. Look at NSW they just got $US2.5m for winning the CL and Victoria got $US500k for making it to the semi finals. I couldn't care if we signed 11 imports (if it were in the rules) because they're better players than our locals and it would give us more of a chance of winning the CL which means $US2.5m to the SACA.
If we were talking about Shield or even ODD cricket (real cricket) thats a bit different but this is just T20 cricket.
