All games and comments for all non S.A. games in 2009/2010
S.A. games deserve individiual threads
PREDICTED ORDER 2009/2010
1 VI
2 NS
3 SA
4 TA
5 WA
6 QL
I think itsa dead set quinella between the 2 Eastern Australian teams
VI
VI was undefeated in 2009/2009 and deserve favouritism
Gotta few veterans , but that means they avoid international duties
HODGE will be the gun batter as per usual
THE DAVE/QUINNEY are stars
WADE is a future oz keeper
NS
Very big chance, have enourmous depth
Whose gunna open the batting when they are all available ?
WATTO/HUGHES/KAT/JAQUES ???
SA
Good batting team, but Fergy injured or playing for OZ a prob
Need TAIT to fire, bowling out the good teams a prob
TA
Good batting team mainly on flat decks, but go missing on tracks with a bitta give at times
If no HILF will struggle to bowl teams out
WA
Unpredictable, can improve
2 big recruits NOFFKE and RONCHI [who did f..k all last season]
RONCHI is a dead set champ IF he gets going with the bat
Batting is the worry, they batted crap last season, but can be dangerous if they get going
Losing ROGERS has destroyed thier batting
QL
Lack depth
Cant make enough the runs for thier underated attack
CARSELDINE needs to make a million runs for them to be competitive

Quiney will play for Australia. Future ODI gun.
Khawaja will play test cricket for Australia.
Expect big seasons from these two.

WA Vs QLD starts today.
QLD again field an inexperienced line led by a man who's numbers are crying out for him to be omitted. This game comes on the back of an intriguing 50 over clash were WA just snuck over the line thanks to the heroics of the former Bull Ashley Noffke.
This game should be a lot different and WA should win easily with Noffke and North to star.

It's the Vics again for mine. Not sure about the Bluebaggers running second, when the Aussies play bang goes our side! Ferg a massive loss for the Backs.

WA 9/406 DEC
NORTH 107
MAGOFFIN 78 as the nightwatchman
WALTER 6/121[39]
Who is this guy, very good figures in a total that exceeded 400
QL 4/232
Queensland have 2 good batsman, and they made the runs
BROAD 103
And that man again CARSELDINE 78*
DOREY 2/34 the most underated bowler in Domestic cricket
If WA can get Carseldine out b4 he gets to 150 they should have the first innings lead
STAN
Marsh for whatever reason does make good ODI runs for his country
His record at International level is very good, whilst his domestic form has generally been below par

If Ronchi took the stumps then, Jacques woulda been run out for 30 odd. He had the ball just decided not to hit the stumps.
Another quality performance by this overrated hack!

and now tries to stop an incoming throw with his pads. Ball clips his pads and keeps going. Any chance someone might want to remind him why he is wearing gloves?

TA 156
QL 382
TA 6/209 stumps day 3
TA still 17 behind
A lead of 125 mght prove difficult
WA V NS
The DANGER DANGERman W ROBINSON another good knock 141
WA got to 5/247
Golden Greek Theologos DoREBopoulous [the man who nearly sconned me in the Adelaide Oval Chappell stand one day] is batting with fLUKE RONCHI
GREEK 47*
A
N
D
fLUKE RONCHI 79 NOT OUT [78 BALLS ]
WA 5/371
fLUKE
I have spoken about this exhillerating batsman
I have been the only one who has defended him
I have said after 2 short innings this year of about 10 runs each that he is looookin' gooooood
124 partnership with the Greek, the Greek is no slouch but the fluke sizzled past him
At last the Sandgropers have starred with the bat
But they will need every bit of near 500 to feel safe against the star studded Blues batters

It might be another road there at the G, at least I'm hoping so as the Baggers will be chasing plenty. It wouldn't be much fun playing an agressive player like Ronchi back into form after being in the field for four hours either.
Our attack does have a bit of a neddy no name look about it for this match though.

REB

Good to see Casson back in the Blues line up. Hasent bowled that well yet, then again anyone in the last hour before lunch hasnt really bowled well, but still plenty of opptunity for him.
REB your attack might be a bit light on, but look at your top 4. Hughes, Jaques, Katich and Khawaja with Haddin at 7.

mal, didn't you see the NSW/WA Franger Cup game on Sunday? Ronchi tried to stop more balls with his feet rather than gloves. He's rubbish.
