ICC Cricketer of the Year

Congratulations to Mitchell Johnson for being named ICC Cricketer of the Year. India's Gautum Gambhir was named Test player of the year averaging 84.6 during the period and countrymen MS Dhoni was named ODI player of the year for the second year in a row averaging 60.43 during the period. Dhoni was also named captain for both the Test & ODI teams of the year. Peter Siddle won Emerging player of the Year.

ICC World Test Team of the Year is: Gautam Gambhir (India), Andrew Strauss (England), A.B. de Villiers (South Africa), Sachin Tendulkar (India), Thilan Samaraweera (Sri Lanka), Michael Clarke (Australia), Mahendra Singh Dhoni (India), Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh), Mitchell Johnson (Australia), Stuart Broad (England), Dale Steyn (South Africa), 12th man Harbhajan Singh (India).

ICC World ODI Team of the Year: Virender Sehwag (India), Chris Gayle (West Indies), Kevin Pietersen (England), Tillakaratne Dishan (Sri Lanka), Yuvraj Singh (India), Martin Guptill (New Zealand), Mahendra Singh Dhoni (India), Andrew Flintoff (England), Nuwan Kulasekara (Sri Lanka), Ajantha Mendis (Sri Lanka), Umar Gul (Pakistan), 12th man Thilan Thushara (Sri Lanka).

The standard of cricket that is being played internationally has really sunk in the last few years IMO.

Stuart Broad's inclusion in the test team of the year is testament to that. What a disgrace if he was in the best 11 players in the world in the last 12 months. Also good on him but surely Hasan from Bangladesh wasn't in the best 11 either.

Can someone provide these two players stats to make me feel better about their selections?
