Stans Dossier

Postby stan » Mon Aug 10, 2009 10:24 pm

For some reason nobody leaked my dossier to Press, but still if I reckon I can write one as well, even though my knowledge of the England
players does not extend out of the living room. Anyway just for some fun I thought I would take the piss a little at Englands team:

Here it is:

1. Strauss - The good old captian, goes alright, has been there best batsmen and is with out KP in the side. Still in my opinion has no idea about captianing a side, but is there best batter now and does have some sort of ticker. Has shown that in past series when he has made runs against good opposition.
(Thats probably going to end the positives hahahaha)
2. Cook - Again when the ball is short and wide or one his pads he is awesome, but I say this Off stump?
3. Boparara - Englands no.3.....say what? Waddles a bit like a penguin and im not really sure he can actually field. Has had one good innings, but we all do at some stage ;).
4.Bell - well I though he would go ok, but f*** me wet himself a little when he gets a good short ball. Provided about as much backbone as a redback top order batsmen.
5. Who bats a 5? Collingwood? - right o real fighter, will hang tough.
6. Prior - Good bat, keeps a bit like me though in the respect he is a bit bad
7. Broad - Besides sometimes losing his radar and bowling puss he goes alright. Can be a handful at times in the right condtions. Bats ok, makes runs.
8. Swann - looks like a wanker - bats alright, bowls a good one now and then.
9. Anderson - Good bowler in the right conditions. Good bowler when things are going his way....might as well go home if things are a bit tough
10. Harrmison - Thought this bloke stopped playing?
11. Onions - Good bowler, bowled well at Edgie, not sure if he was hung over at headinly or not.

Anyway all thats just for fun, please dont leak to the English press. In all serious though anyone read the artilce about langers dossier, was a cracking read apparently.

He did.

Seriously, I cannot believe the hype that surrounds Harmison. People talk about him as if he is this fearsome quick bowler but all I've seen is a substandard oaf who bowls about 1 good ball in every dozen. What does he average against Australia, around 50?

He seems to enjoy a reputation as this demon strike bowler who stamps fear in the hearts of batsmen around the world when in fact all he does is bowl crap, and plenty of it.

He can't bat, can't field, can't run, and sometimes can't even bowl. A wonderful advertisement for International cricket, and and even worse one for English professional cricket.

I agree the guy's hype. All we kept hearing about was if the poms would unleash this monster on to us etc. so it was nice to hear what Ponting had to say to the Fox guys after the game. I can't remember his exact words but it was something along the lines of he loves facing Harmison, he has no problem scoring off of him and he bowls them right where he wants them.
