Whatever happened to Andy Delmont? He was given a chance in both forms of the game (SS and ODI) a couple of years back and was looking promising? Now it appears he is no longer contracted?

after a few years on the list as a rookie and what not
he was never given a chance and now no contract???

good to see matt weeks has been given a contract
hopefully when given his chance he can cement a spot in the side
even though port need him!!

really fell off the wagon last season I think barely registered a score with University in grade cricket.

in fact a quick look at the mycricket website for last season A.Delmont 10 hits from 11 games for 298 runs at 37.25 with at HS 116* scored towards the end of the season.

was cannon fodder at CA Cup level. Very good Grade bowler but unlikely to take it further and now age has probably led to his downfall as a rookie

Pretty unlikely that Manou won't be available so it's a non issue really. Having said that you pick the best players available and if Manou can't play and if Clingleffer(sp?) is the next best option then so be it. If the young keepers want a shot they just need to get better.

Alex Carey is an outstanding prospect but he's been in the best players evry match for SA Under 18's footy and I suspect he'll be taken in the AFL draft

Yeah Tim 'Deisel' Davey probably didnt make enough runs. There is also Pat Connelly from Kensies who kept in a few 2nd 11 games

still can bat and his glove work is exceptional... if its working with james foster and england now why couldnt it work for SA??? cant expect every young keeper to be able to bat like gilly

Whats going to happen to Tom Plant? Will he be given another contract? surely not. Would he look interstate?
