Pakistan vs. Australia-1st ODI

The pre-match show starts on Fox Sports tonight from 8:30pm. Looks to be a pretty interesting series for a variety of reasons. The series is being played in the United Arab Emirates after the shocking terrorist attacks in Pakistan when the Sri Lankan team toured there. For them honourable South Aussies Younis Khan (Captain) and Sohail Tanvir are in the squad and Shoaib Akhtar is back having been passed fit.
For us Andrew Symonds, Shane Watson, Stuart Clark and Shaun Marsh are all making their returns to the national team during this tour consisting of five ODI's and one Twenty/20 match. Brett Lee who was originally named in the squad for this tour had been training with his IPL team in South Africa (as opposed to our national team when we were there too) and obviously the selectors must not have felt he was cherry ripe and sent him back home to rehab with the possibility that he may be right to take his spot in the squad later in the series as unlikely as that seems. For now at least he's been replaced by Doug Bollinger.
Ricky Ponting, Michael Hussey and Mitchell Johnson have all been sent home to rest and Michael Clarke will captain his first series.

Watto was still easily the favourite. I think mal got the odds spot on. I'm interested in the odds of Watto injuring himself walking out to bat

you shouldnt poke fun at that, it is seriously devistating for SOS, batted well before he got Injured in the saffa series, takes ages to get back and does the same hammy on his
13th ballAnd Now we have to listen to Geoff Boycott

WATTO false $1-50 fav
My information was WATTO was going to open
Haddin I known that WATTO was batting 3 I would have had MARSH the favourite !
The $1-40 mode of injury disMissAL the WattoSTRING gets up !
Meanwhile channell 9 has missed a golden opportunity not telecasting this game
They could play a commercial beteen Ahktars deliveries
6 commercials an over, plus no balls would be a bonus
Think of the corporate sponsorship
AKTAR runs about a kilometre , he limps, he swaggers ....he looks injured already
AU 0/32
HADDIN hits the first 6 on this ground
And Good to listen to my fav commentator Geoff Boycott

He's not that good and shouldn't be in the side anyway. How he is there and Phil Hughes isn't is beyond me. A few big hits in the IPL does not make an international cricketer.

Over 8.6: Gul to Marsh, two runs, OUT, driven off the back foot to deep point, Hauritz is caught short going for a third run and the first Australian wicket is down
what does a batsmen say to his team mate when he runs him out!!!!!
Horry was just jogging, it was an easy three

Having had it happen to me you are pissed off for a while but then quickly realise they feel worse than you do. Like dropped catches nobody tries to do it.

Perhaps let him get more than 7 before declaring he's back mal

Having said that it was a fine shot and he can bat. Hopefully he doesn't try to bowl

But Phil Hughes hasent done much for NSW in 50 over matches, i think he has 4 half centuries in 20 matches. he was good in the tests, but i think Marshy deserves a spot before him
