Hi Everyone, particularly Cricket lovers...
The Flagstaff Hill Cricket Club has secured a MAJOR coup in Australian Cricket by having available for display Don Bradman's first Test cricket bat...AND YOU'RE INVITED TO SEE IT. The bat, listed as an Australian Icon, was used by Donald G Bradman in his first test played in Brisbane in November 1928.
In addition the Cricket Club will also have on display...
* 4 other Bradman bats including the one believed to be his last bat used when he scored a duck plus other bats he made centuries with.
* Shane Warnes Test cap
* a Victor Trumper bat
* Justin Langers Baggy Green
* numerous Australian team photos (originals - not copies).
Viewing starts from 6:00pm Wednesday 4th March and also on Saturday, 7th March from 1.00 to 6.00pm.
This is an extensive display that has not been available for display ever before and will not be in South Australia again as it is being donated for display at National Sports Museum in Melbourne.
A gold coin donation is required for entry and other photo opportunities can be booked on the day.
Do yourself a favour and view one of the great Australian cricket collections for only a gold coin donation.
Cheers,
MatteeG
