not really South Australian but Younis Khan is a contracted saca player at the moment.
He is currently on 309* just 91 short of the magical 400 mark made by Lara Vs the Poms.

Is the Pitch made of cement. after 4 days there has only been 12 wickets and 1224 runs at a whopping average of over 100 per wicket.
and the Lankans are on their third new ball

Hard enough to get to 300 let alone 400. No matter how friendly the batting conditions Younis' knock was a great effort. Just makes you realise what an extraordinary player Lara was to get a 375 and a 400* in Test cricket as well as a 501* in first class cricket. He was a batting genius.

Lara is the best batsman I've seen since Barry Richards.

Just on Younis Khan making 313, it should serve as a message to some Redbacks batsmen how close to elite company they actually are in terms of ability. The only thing missing is application.

Fantastic innings. It might be a road but you don't see the other blokes knock up a triple ton. He is someone we must keep even if he can't play every match. If not for his performances on the pitch but the lessons he can teach, plus I just love the enthusiasm he shows when donning the red cap. He just loves cricket.
