I think he means that unfortunately Hughes will be used as a backup keeper rather than taking a specialist backup keeper. I don't think he is meaning that he thinks it's unfortunate that Hughes will tour.

of coarse they will take a back up keeper. They dont want there opener to have to keep if haddin gets injured. to much pressure on a bloke who is yet to debut. but i think Choc will go he is only 29 and he is definently the best gloveman in the country, and he will get picked by the selectors in the Team of the year againPidge wrote:Australia wont take a backup keeper. nah choc has better hands than Hartley. i cant find it on the net, but i remember on the cricket show last year they asked all first class wicket keepers who is the best at wicket keeping in aus. everyone said manou except for himselfrod_rooster wrote:the joker wrote:of coarse they will take a back up keeper.
