KP no longer laughing, but we should be

Remember when KP had a nice old laugh at our expense when we lost to South Africa in the first test? Now it's out turn. The West Indies have bowled out England for 51 in the first test at Sabina Park and have won by an innings. 51!! LMAO!

Go the Poms.

At least it is better than their 46 a few years ago (2004 IIRC) at the recreation Ground Antigua (Spelly)....

I thought that was at Jamaca (Spelly LOL). But remember that test was abondoned due to the state of the pitch. Gayle and Sarwan scored tons in this game. The pitch must have died in the ar5e on the fourth day.

Good old England. No matter how down we may get with Aussie cricket at times, we can always rely upon England to lift our spirits. They have provided many comical moments over the years, but this is in the top 10.

51 :D

Maybe not. Having signed their IPL contracts, they would have just gone out and batted like millionaires.

The upcoming Ashes is going to be really high quality. With the way both teams are playing we might see 20 wickets fall in a day.

None of the wickets could be contributed to the pitch. it was a bit slow and the occassional one was keeping low. Just Pathetic batting and Good bowling. England were 7/26 off 20 overs at one stage
Flintoff made 24 whilst Jerome Taylor (MOM) took 5/11 off 9 overs and Big Benn took 4/31 off 14.2 overs.
Benn and Taylor both took 8 wkts for the match whilst Gayle and Sarwan both scored tons in combining for a 200 run partnership.

Saw this on the news this morning, KP was having a laugh with Gayle after the game.

KP doesn't care about the International arena now that he has an IPL contract.

Not that I'm in the habit of questioning the great man, but are you sure that game was abandoned REB? IIRC in the game that was abandoned, the poms were about 3/20 after the first hour, and that's when the game as called off.

Interesting stuff. Windies have a first innings lead of 70 odd and still win by an innings.

LOL England!

Yeah, that was a couple of years earlier than the 46. 1997/98 at Kingston, 3/17 was the score.

Flintoff top scores with 24 and apparently nobody else made it past 6.

Didn't Harmison tear the Windies a new one a few years back in the Caribbean, rolling the Windies for 46 and taking 7 for sweet FA.

Umm whilst it is fun to watch lets not get too excited. we aren't travelling well ourselves ATM so we will need to playing to our maxiMAL potential to beat the POMs despite this episode.

We take tehm for granted and we'll give back the ASHES

No mate I was wrong but Rodney Rooster is the king of that today with his Haddin comment :) There appear to be quite a number of low scoring efforts in England v West Indies matches in the last decade.

What a terrible performance.. Few England players who will most certainly be worried about their positions. Ian Bell is the main one, a long string of indifferent performances may force him back to Country cricket for a while. Lets hope England dont throw him on the scrap heap at 27 though. Shah will probably be next in line IMO.

No doubt the poms will be whingeing about that for a while.
