Well the game is approaching Ferg to make his well deserved Debut and Voges in also.
Hopefully the lads can put in a solid performance and do the basics right and we should win.

it is good to see a SA batsman in the side

i think klinger could have received a call up also to maybe open with warner. after all he did win state player of the year on tuesday night.

Clarke has said Ferg will be batting at 6. Would've liked to see him a bit higher personally. I don't see much sense in Haddin batting at 3.

Ferg at 6?

That's stupid.

Particularly as Haddin is at 3. Surely Ferg is a better option at 3 than Haddin.

Too be honest I think the batting order should be...
Warner (well, I'd have Hughes but you know...)
Hopes
Clarke
Ferg
Hussey
Dussey
Haddin
White
Johnson
Bracken
Hilf

I think Haddin at 3 is saying its time to pull your finger out get set and make a solid innings batting time and scoring freely

I agree 100% with that even the Hughes mention.

I'd prefer to see Haddin coming in late and having a licence to go the tonk, then again, even batting at 8 lately has bee like batting at 4.

I still querry white.... why he has never made massive runs and taken heaps of domestic wickets... he isnt an international cricketers boot spike IMO..... surely playing an extra batter eg. north(bowls better than whit and bats better)

I agree re White guys. I wouldn't have him in the side, hasn't done anything to justify a place. But that's the actual team so I just put them in an order I would be content with. I wouldn't have Warner in the side. Really, why isn't Hughes there? They've admitted he's international standard, his ODD record is very good, he's in better form than Warner, why not put him in there?

Warner gone. Intelligent cricketer.
Will struggle big time at FC level. Has no technique at all.

I agree with your line-up if it was just out of todays 11.

Gee whiz. I'm not sure if I'm speaking out of turn here, but how long can they labour the Haddin wicket for?????
From my perspective, the bails went backwards, which generally indicates the player was bowled, if Haddin had knocked them off, the bails would have gone forward. Cricket commonsense I would have thought.
It was a no-ball though, if the umpire could have seen the quick movement, due to Haddin's gloves going in front of the stumps.
Thank goodness there was no vision of the Clarke/Katich bust up, we'd be seeing repeats of that adnauseum too.
