Hauritz...does absolutely nothing. For some reason they put him in when we need to contain the opposition and they spank 20 from the over. He was 12th man for NSW in Dec when he was called up for the Adelaide test. He was supposed to be mixing drinks for a state side and got called up for NATIONAL duty...how the hell does that work?

Mick Lewis 0/113 from 10 in his last ODI appearance (where SAf chased down 434)

Brad Williams is a guy who comes to mind. Burst onto the international scene, then quickly disappeared. Not even playing State Cricket now due to numerous indescretions.

Good bowler with an average of 30 and an economy of 4.7 in an era where 250 was a good target to defend......Dud, very overated.

Chris Matthews who couldn't hit the Gabba pitch on his lamentable test debut.

Serious Question.
Is this a biggest 'dud' thread? of which any person who has played for Australia is not. Or a thread to state the player you dislike the most or who has performed poorly at international level, which IMO doesn't make them a dud.

Well it's all relative bloods. It's the same for AFL dudness.

I think it is easier to get a kick in the AFL than play a game of cricket for Australia, which is why so many kids choose this option. Good athletes get a game of footy, they don't get a game of cricket.

Nah i just find it funny people sit behind a computer screen and call someone who has/is playing for their country a dud. I can understand people having an opinion that they are not good enough to be playing for Austalia but to call them a dud is poor form IMHO.

Of course it's easier to get a game of AFL. Theres only 4-5 (maximum) states that AFL is a preference for and theres 16 (soon to be 17) teams with 40+ on each list. Seeing that is the highest standard in the country and seeing how many people play cricket for Australia each year thats a pointless argument.
