Excellent move. Would be fantastic to watch it under lights....

This is what Test Cricket needs to move with the times and the threat of 20/20.....

I remember SA vs QLD in a day/night shield match going back a while

Its all good to try it for something different. But as they pointed out in the article that its difficult to find a suitable ball colour. The Orange balls (they said Pink in the paper but it was definately organge) they used for the D/N Shield games swung a mile and sounded terrible off the bat. They also must not overkill it either. Maybe limit the number that they play a season.

I've pointed out that we get really good Test match crowds when you consider factors. The novelty about it will only further boost crowds, I'll definitely be there for it.

I heard James Sutherland on ABC radio today and he ruled it out. He said it may happen on day but it certainly won't happen in 09 in Australia.
