Twenty/20 Champions League postponed

The Twenty/20 Champions League involving both Victoria and WA has been postponed due to the terrorist attacks in India. We were scheduled to get our first game on Channel Ten Wednesday night between Middlesex and Victoria.

Maybe a silly question and clearly off topic but why would a person playing teeball need to be wearing a helmet whilst batting?

It would take a fair effort to hit yourself in the head with the ball from that position.

Probably as a precursor to Baseball, to get the kids ready for wearing a helmet when they step up to the plate....
