Can Max skin the Kat?

Corporal Maxwell Klinger is clearly the form batsman of the Sheffield Shield so far this season. He is averaging over a hundred and is leaving his rivals for dead. Already comparisons to last year's stellar season by the Kat are being made. Can Max skin the Kat and beat the Shield record that he set only last year?

Watch that space.

Going well but there is one problem why he won't beat Kat's record,

He won't play against SA!

Klinger won't get Katich's record, soon the Redbacks curse will kick in and he will be making ducks.

he needs 732 runs at 73.2 if he bats in each innings of every match,
it will be very tough. he should pass 1000 runs easily though.

also Katich played 11 games scoring 178 runs in the final. so if he does pass Kat, he will have done extremely well because SA wont make the final and he would have played 1 less game.

To Pass Katich's Runs without the final he needs 554 at 55.4 runs per innings.

No I don't know the answer, but he could be on the way to breaking the most runs in 4 and 1 day formats combined for a season.
