No Cosgrove in any of those sides, i find that very interesting.

Tom Cooper made 4 and 48 and got and only bowled one over for the match (Cricket Australia Cup (Mens) - Match 3 SA v ACT) and got picked

To go with Cossies 104 and 9 not out and he bowled 8.4 overs for 1 for 43

What are SA selectors doing

There must be something going on behind the scenes with Cosgrove that SACA is not making public, because on current and previous form, he should be at least be in the initial squad. :?

Someone on the GSFL thread mentioned that they saw Cossie at Flashdance last night. Not the best idea if you are supposed to be a professional sportsperson

he would have Known that he was not selected yesterday and he would have been out with all the SACA 2nd 11 celebrating their win yesterday,

I've said this before on a previous thread, there are people at SACA who've put their necks on the line for Cossie over the years time and time again. I would suggest maybe he has some making up to do.

I hope whatever it is can be sorted out before he goes interstate. He's too talented not to be playing.

Would he get a game playing for any other state?

Tom Cooper made 150 in grade cricket on the weekend and has solid results in his previous 2nd XI games. He deserves his chance to be a part of the squad and is obviously doing the right things to impress the selectors. Cosgrove on the other hand is not

and if Cossie did indeed go out on the town the fat prick should be left at Northerns for the rest of the season. That is not the way to behave when trying to win back your spot in first class cricket

Keep trying to convince yourself about how 'talented' Cosgrove is. He's never been more than a fat slogger.

Are we over estimating a night out here? He has just finished a few days of hard cricket and obviously knew he wasn't in the Redbacks side. He is probably entitled to a night out.

I say stick him in the side for at least three Shield matches and see what happens. If his attitude is right and he scores runs, he stays, if not he goes. He is too talented to be left languishing until another state picks him up. I reckon all of the other states would be willing to take him on.

i spoke to cossie today and he said him and the whole 2nd 11 team went out for dinner and then to HQ for a couple of drinks but he walked in his door at 1130, nothings wrong with that

Come to think of it the 2nd XI would have knocked off the ACT yesterday so yes he is entitled to a few quiet drinks. If he was sensible about it and had left well before closing time then I can't see a problem with it. However if, he wasn't then its a different story. maybe he should speak to Cullen Bailey and Peter George they could give him the christian (not Dan  ) point of view on how to behave in public
