2008/2009

VI 21-02
NS 47 current game

Callum Frustrations first class career stats
not including the 47 today
I might have missed a game or 2 above

37 MATCHES
70 INNINGS
6 NOT OUTS
2109 runs
hs 114
ave 32-95
2 hundreds
15 fifties

In my opinion has the most talent of all the batsman in SA
He is magnificent to watch
Cover drives as good as any player in the world
But he is the foreplay speciallist, gets us all excited and then gets out

Today I viewed him in the NSW game
When he got to 43 I said to my mate , its time for him to get out AGAIN after a good start
Next ball a glorious lofted off drive for 4
Next ball caught at slip

MALS ADVICE
Callum bat until 33 runs
Then pretend you are starting a new innings
bat to 66 runs
Then pretend you are starting a new innings
bat to 99 runs
then you know you are 99 runs
next run/runs = bingo

Callum Frustration Foreplay Ferguson take my advice
You are a couple of tons away from being a potential Test cricketer
You are a star and as Paul once sang LET IT BE

I remember Ian Chappell I think saying "show me a bloke who scores most of his runs with the cover drive and I'll show you a bloke who doesn't average 40" .

I've never heard Chappelli say that, but he's absolutely spot on.

Just think Mal, if you'd said he would go on to make 200, you could have turned his whole career around :)
