SHAUN MARSH is the JAQUES replacement
MARSH SS FORM this season
25
74*
5
30

PITCH
let me guess another subcnut pitch
no bounce
no life
takes spin
geez the first thing I noticed when SA played NS in the franger cup was the bounce

AUSTRALIAN TEAM DELHI
likely to be unchanged
unless jason gets cams spot

RESULT
If AU win the toss and bat first we might draw
If IN win the toss they will win
Delhi is one place where IN excel vrs AU ?

INDIAN TEAM
Kumble of Mishy ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Tough decision
I would play Kumble, he is the skipper, he is thier leading wicket-taker in history, he deserves these last 2 tests and to beat the arch enemy AU would top off a magnificent career
Mishy is only 25 and as Mick Jagger once sang this for Mishy " TIMMMMMMME IS ON MY SIDE"

Important toss to win, we must win it and bat first. That is our only chance of winning I think.

Can our bowlers take the 20 wickets to win the match? I think no...

only way part timers will work in the next test so that means watson and clarke needs to improve to help white which he took 3 wickets out of a possible 12 with another chance that rudi didn't call for a replay. that means each of the part timers need to take a minimum of 2-3 wickets each to work out.

My view is the next test wil not change much but the decision is to play siddle or clark next test but lee may step a side because lee and johnson are similar bowlers. where clark and siddle are different which siddle hits the bat and pitch hard and clark gets that extra bounce.

If the next test is a failure expect changes with marsh and co getting a game to see if they got it.

We should throw in an extra batsman and let Katich have a trundle.

The selectors won't do it. They're too in love with mediocre all-rounders... :(

Speaking of mediocre all-rounders, are we going to see Maddog out having a hit soon?

Possibly... I'm more of a specialist fielder though haha

On a more serious note, there is no way White is a test-quality all-rounder. Watson is very iffy day-to-day. Symonds is worthy of his spot when he is there. Problem is, the selectors are still struck by the 'Flintoff syndrome', the need for an all-rounder in the Test side, no matter what the quality. Of course, this is the successor to the Gilchrist variety which necessitated countries like England and India to play a batsman who could keep.

Answer = A.Symonds.

But the selectors have their heads up their arses!

We're about two players away from entering a D grade, we have 48 players atm, we need about 6 extra to make sure we cover all the teams each week. Training at 5:30 Thursdays.

I'd hate to admit it, but I think Katich would have to be very unlucky to get dropped. I'd leave Siddle out of that line-up, even 4 pacemen is probably too many. We have lost the ability to post huge scores, we should be batsman heavy and make use of our all-rounders.

Because the replacement is Marsh, aka the future of Australian cricket, aka the best timer of the ball I've ever seen.

Nah Kat isn't injured, and Hayden (rightfully) won't be dropped.

The only way Marsh realistically plays is if we kick out White for an extra bowler and replace Watson so Marsh can bat at #6. The first might happen, second won't (phew).

I thin Kat's bowling abilities are under-rated, he'd be more than handy in India, he can turn the ball.

Hayden
Marsh
Ponting
Hussey
Clarke
Katich
Watson
Haddin
Lee
Johnson
Clark
