i would rather have cosi playing than a few other batters. we judge him to hard and expect him to make huge scores every game & as a result the media have got on his back about his weight & his cricket has got worse because of this. leave Cosi alone and let him play cricket the way that suits him & the runs will start to flow.

I don't expect him to make huge scores .. but some scores would be nice. Not making runs because the media is on his back about his weight? Try the other way around.

As a NSW fan I'm not happy that the Redbacks selectors have selected Cosgrove. Cosgrove has a good eye and even a shortish stay at the crease can result in an injection of runs. Our attack was threadbare against the Bulls up in Cairns recently so if we don't have Cameron and Bracken back the Blueboys could be in for a long afternoon. Shaun Tait will also be licking his lips at the prospect of demolishing a very green top order. Oh oh!

BRACKEN will not play in a major boost to SA winning
NSW have sent over the babyblues in a match SA must start favourites

SA 12 IN POSSIBLE BATTING ORDER

HARRIS
KLINGER
KHAN
BORGAS
FERGUSON
CHRISTIAN
OBREIN
MANOU
CLEARY
CULLEN
TAIT
WISE

You would think WISE might be the 12th man at this stage

NS

HUGHES
FORREST
THORNLEY
D SMITH
WARNER
LAMBERT
S SMITH
OKEEFE
HEINRIQUES
HAURITZ
BIRD
CAMERON

Dunno where most of these guys will bat in a threadbare line up
One of the most unheralded line ups sent by the mighty blues in many years
It will be intesting to see the REB proterge and poor mans Shane Watson PhillipHeincrippleques go.
Hencrippleques is a great talent but unfortunately a crock
No Bracken no blues for mine

My selection dare I print it SA

I actually have a real confidence going into this game and i think the players do to. We need to keep wickets in hand as we have fire power batting at 7 8 9 which with a good base can post a good score.

HARRIS - been solid so far at the top
KLINGER - impressive with a ton last week
KHAN - big wraps undoubtable record in international cricket and loves the game
BORGAS - suspect IMO but has taken down my grade team many a time so is very capable
FERGUSON - talented needs to step up as a mature batsman now
CHRISTIAN - good alround talent had a solid first year with the spuds, needs to improve on that
OBREIN - hasnt done much but is capable and comes with some experience. can be very handy
MANOU - need a skippers knock but hopefully not required to bat
CLEARY - gotta chance with the ball & needs to take it. I think he bowls well when in the red cap
CULLEN - needs to step up and get some confidence
TAIT - needs to tare NSW a new one today
WISE - havent seen so cant comment.

This game can set us up and these are the must win games for the SACA's.

Cant wait to finish work and go watch the lads hopefully get over the line

Excellent preview
Except CULLEN
He has been very good in the 50 over games and arguably our best bowler last season
Its his 4 day form which is at a low ebb

He still isnt the cullen of 2 years ago. He is lacking that cheekty confidence that he had. I agree he has been better in the 50 over game but still could be improve a bit IMO.

my tip is SA if they keep wickets in hand and can have a 100 run partnership

SA BETTER PLAYERS
NS BETTER CULTURE

One team habitually finds ways to win
One team habitually finds ways to lose

Crucial game
It would give the Baby Blues 2 wins in a row and with the heavy artilery arriving from India sets them up
SA need early wins for confidence boosting, lose this + SA are 2 games behind NSW

That Blues side does not inspire confidence at all. I think the Redbacks are actually not bad at the one day stuff and I reckon Tait will have a field day. No Bracken no Blues is probably a fair call. He was as cool as Iced Tea against the Warriors in Perth to get the crucial wicket of big hitting Brett Dorey and without him it's boys on a man's mission.

I thought mally's call on Henriques is a bit harsh and that he'll prove himself a player by the end of the year. No player needs the terrible moniker of 'poor man's Shane Watson'! Henriques and Cameron are both valuable inclusions. Believe it or not this side is a street ahead of the combination that played the Bulls. We had O'Keefe opening the bowling FFS.

We really need Hughes, Forrest and especially skipper Thornley to stand up here (Tait to Thornley would be a stern exammination for Bluey). Keep your eye on Bird too. The last time I saw him bowl he was a dead set chucker.

Heart says Blueboys, Head says Redbacks. :(

Yes, NSW continually loses one day matches. We've been terrible in this comp for the last two years.

NSW won the toss and will have a bat.

Tait has a wicket already! Hughes out for a duck and it was 1/0

Now 1/7 off 2 overs.

Tait gets another, super catch by O'Brien!

Over 4.4: Tait to Khawaja, no run, OUT, WOW! super one handed catch to O'Brien diving back as Khawaja mistimes a pull shot that pops up in the air to square leg

2/12
