Firstly, thanks for your updates brod. Secondly, Sangakkara is a gun. He should be as revered in his homeland as Murali is, but more revered around the world! Is he Sri Lanka's Gilchrist? Big call I know, but if the big-eared one hadn't been around, I'm sure we would never have seen a wicketkeeper/batsman like Kumar (at no 42).

Certainly an impressive start brod, I'm assuming if he's learning from Murali, he's bowling offies? Pardon my ignorance!

At least they're not more test wickets brod! How many should you take off his total compared to Warnie, who rarely played against the Bangers, etc?

and that still may not be the best batting performance of the tournament, but so many of these numbers are inflated by playing developing sides (Hong Kong ect)

Quote from Cricinfo
Although classified as a right-arm, slow-medium bowler, Ajantha Mendis is a spinner who bowls a mixture of googlies, offbreaks, top-spinners, flippers and legbreaks. Batsmen have been confounded by the variety of deliveries he has up his sleeve and are at a loss to figure out what his stock delivery is.
