A small article I found from 1950 about some revenge...

This was from the Advertiser, on the 20th of June of that year:

In revenge for being sacked from his job on the ground staff of the Warwickshire County Cricket Club, Roy Thompson, a promising 18 year old cricketer, poured weed killer on the wicket of the Birmingham County Ground, scattered nuts and bolts on the outfield to hamper the mower, put water in the motor mowers petrol tank and stole cricket gear.
This was stated in a Birmingham Court yesterday. Pleading guilty to the theft charge, Thompson was conditionally discharhed on promising to be of good behaviour for a year.

wow he went to town on them. He knew exactly how and where to hurt the club.
