I watched highlights earlier on Fox and England were 3/4 at one stage.

good recovery and competitive total by the poms.

Some of the Pommy batsmen are not fairing too well at all in the series

I meant are Oram and Bond in competition for being injured the most. If NZ had both of those lads on the park 100% of the time thsy would be a top three side in both forms of the game

I am not questioning Bells form, i think he can bat anywhere in the top 6 but i dont think Andrews performances are warranting a spot at the moment and IMO he would want to improve quickly.

I think there are only 2 that can be considered on form at the moment and they would be Ramprakash and Shah and they probably wont add much more as it is so i guess they have some decisions to make if these failures keep continuing.

I hope Strauss can find some form because he is a good player but a few more tests like this and he will be on the outer again IMO.

Are England to one dimensional? Cook, Bell, Strauss, Vaughan are very one paced batsmen particularly in this sort of form, Collingwood and Bell continue to be shuffled around the order to find the right spot for them and the team. Only Pieterson is really able to take apart test attacks. It is a real shame Trescothick and Flintoff are falling off the map as well.

Southee is the first NZer to take 5 wickets on debut for over 50 years. Terrific effort.

NZ were cruising after the early loss of Bell (Who IMO looks completely out of his depth along with Sinclair.) at 1/103 before Ryan Sidebottom has ripped through the middle order. NZ are now 7/138 with Sidebottom taking 6/33 and still going.

Fleming and How the only ones to get going with 59 and 44 respectively.

This is a bloke who has scored only 90 odd runs at an average less than 20 this series.

It does not matter what sort of attack it is against, he needs this and badly.
