Postby Dutchy » Sat Mar 04, 2006 10:32 am

A.Gilchrist - No dramas here
S.Katich - Hack
P.Jaques - Potential
D.Martyn - only in because theres no one else
M.Clarke - Potential but wearing thin
M.Hussey - No dramas but needs to deliver now the honeymoon is over
S.Watson - No No No
B.Hogg - OK but the future?
B.Lee - No dramas, like the way his batting has developed
N.Bracken - Struggles, no match winner
S.Clark - No No No

Could you believe 12 months ago that we would field a team like this? Take out Gilchrist and this is the Aussie A team from last season!!!!

Well the 2nd ODI has produced an absolute shocker of a result.

Chasing 290 and bowled out for a pathetic 93.
Worst performance for a very long time I'd say. Possibly only 'bettered' by a match in the 80s by making 70 after NZ made 270.

Im really lost for words, at least now the selectors will look up and say, perhaps there is something not right there. To be fair, our bowling was shit house, and we backed that up with the back with another dirty performace.

i know its too easy to criticise (spelling) when you put in a bad one but i have to agree wholeheartedly with your comments dutchy old son you are spot on with every one. By the way who designed the shirts for both teams - the AFL? i just saw some lowlights on tv and i couldnt tell who was bloody who. Poor show by the hairy backs on that one.
Go The Tiges!!!

Yeah your right dog_ger, we really are lacking that good solid paceman to get some wickets and slow the bastards down. Lewis, Clark and Johnson are not up to it as simple as that.

In my opinion, the selectors should be Flying Dizzy or Kasper over to South Africa as soon as Possible. We just need and experiance bloke thats in good form there.

Also we need more than one of our top order to crack double figure, but hey lets pick our battles here :)
