Propably because he wasn't performing with the bat. Scored 5 in the A grade over the weekend.

Very, very disappointed for him.
Shame he couldn't put the runs on the board when under immense pressure.
Hope he smashes them for the Blacks.

IMO if they are going to drop him for the 4 day game they might as well drop him from the 1 day side as well and make a clean break.

If he is to stay in the 1 day team only they should strip him of the captaincy and let Manou control both teams. What the players think? this guy is telling us what to do but is not good enough to hold his spot.

Hooray, but will they re-pot "the Plant". Hooray for Manou, who has more centuries this year than Adcock has in his illustrious 9 year career.

I don't think his one day form has been that bad, not really scoring enough runs but handy with the ball. I'm glad the selectors finally discarded him.

Yes he did, I read it in the paper.

I think wcp's comment flew over everybodys head like a concorde jet.

This is not the toughest thing the selectors have done to Nathan Adcock,giving him the captaincy in the first place was thier biggest error.This by no means is a reflection on Adcock,for I think his late season form last year dictated he be in the side (both forms) for the start of this season.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.It tells us Adcock should not have been made Captain,Lehmann should not have been persuaded to retire (however that really happenend).

Many of us have voiced our dissapproval of the SACA and thier policies and procedures over many years.What are the chances of the powers-that-be listening to Joe Public and changing things? 0

Regardless of the organisation,the people at the top get the arse when things go wrong.They have three things in thier job.

Responsibility,Accountability and Authority.It should be remembered 2 beats one every time.(ie: they are not resposible nor accountable at this point in time)

Bad luck Nathan,go back,get confidence in yourself and back your ability and make runs,for the good of yourself and cricket in our State.For at this time,you are one of our better prospects for the future.
