Unfortunately he did even worse in that "unloseable" one-dayer in South Africa a couple of years back -went for over 100 I think.

Can't understand how Ponting could have kept bowling him.

You'd think after the first half-a-dozen overs, you'd say "piss off down to fine-leg," wouldn't you?

I would've told him to piss off when he got to the airport on the way to South Africa

Not totally disagreeing but a couple of others names to throw in the ring:

Scott Muller
Nathan Hauritz
Shaun Young
Trevor Hohns
Adam Dale

and don't forget there were some shockers in the WSC days in the late seventies.

Oh, and how could i forget Watto

Glenn Trimble - stand out dud

Rob Kerr (awesome Shield player though)

Phil Carlson - horrible in 78-79

Trevor Laughlin - last of the really fat allrounders, until Cossy came along

Sam Gannon

I didn't think Adam Dale did too bad.

What were his stats like?

Brett Dorey is a doozy. Agree with that one

And David Ogilvie and Richie Robinson

Two blokes who each made at least five tons in a single shield season and then were immediately way out of their depth at the next level, once promoted.

I may have been a little harsh on Adam Dale but i just never rated him as a player. He probably doesn't deserve to be in that list.
