Sounds like common sense prevailing from what I bet are hours of behind-closed-doors meetings

At last something positive to discuss from the second test match aftermath, may it be a continuing trend by both teams

Agreed, full marks to India for not going ahead with it and leaving it out on the field, I commend their integrity.

Hopefully this is the start of the relations getting back on track.
Still a bit to come up when Singh goes to the appeal....

Indian cricket and integrity referred to in the same sentence

Well wonders never cease

I know you're having a giggle with the emoticon but the Indian's would have to be one of the most respected in the world, surley?
The Pakkies on the other hand....

Let's hope common sense continues and India either withdraw Harbijan's appeal, or it's dismissed and his 3 test ban stands.
It shows it wasn't a genuine complaint, just a childish retailiation because Harbijan got caught red-handed again

Hell yeah, Ive always looked forward to playing them as I regard them as having the highest integrity as well as a pleasure to watch and just humble and nice folk.
As for the Poms, Kiwis, Proteas, Sri Lankans and Pakkies, don't get me started.

cant quite agree there wedgie after reading the paper over the weekend and finding that the indians have the worst record in regards to discipline over the last ten years even worse than the pakis not a suprise too see gangirley leading the charge of the turbans for bad discipline the aussies were ranked 4th on the list and if you took outglen mcgraths offences they were ranked 5th this once again leads me to think that the asian block countrys think they rule the game more than ever because of the money they generate ...
here is the list not sure of the time frame but the article dates back to gangirleys first offence in jan 1997
india..........43
pakis..........39
proteas.......27
aussies.......25
poms..........21
sri lanka......18
zim............15
kiwis...........14
windies.......13
leading offenders..
gangirley...... 12
inzamam........11
b grade aktah..7
graeme smith...6
ohh ahh..........6
the turbanator..5
kumar.............5
5 of the top 7 offenders all from the asian block who all think the cricket world is against them

I agree, a tit for tat complaint and hardly a display of integrity by the Indians IMO.

there's a new one- Indians acting like adults...
Well done, I had always thought better of Anil Kumble, than the way he carried on after the 2nd Test.

Yes, congratulations for India for acting with integrity. Now if only the Australians would drop the complaint against Singh (assuming that that can still be done before the appeal).
Cheers
