Clarke won't be dropped unless he has a Chappell/Tayloresque poor run with the bat. If they do bring in a new player, it wo'nt be Noffke, more likely to be another NSW player Thornely maybe    .

Oh no doubting Clarke won't be dropped, but this is my team.

Noffke gives us an extra bowler which we need. Symonds has me now convinced he's up to standard with the bat but he'll never be a real threat with the ball. Noffke is obviously a very good bowler and he can bat.

I'd rather Watson but he's still finding his feet.

So you have dropped Pup after failing in one test? Sounds fair..

Considering he top scored in the second innings last test... You better drop Punter as well!

Clarke will not be dropped, how ridiculous! You want to drop Clarke but then you consider bringing Watson into the team?? I am glad you aren't a selector.

Clarke or Symonds, but Symonds is in better form than Clarke.

Why would you consider Watson? He can't bowl. Symonds is a better bowler, as is Clarke.

There's a thing called team BALANCE

Since when have the Aussies gone in with 4 quicks, 1 spinner and an all-rounder :?

Sorry NFC that's ridiculous

The side will be unchanged unless Hayden can't get back up in time.

If Hayden does not come up what is the chance of Mike Hussey going back to the top of the order and David Hussey coming in to bat at 5 or 6

That will be an interesting selection problem, perhaps RR's mate who suceeds so well opening in Watto will come into consideration (joking of course), could think of a worse scenario or replacement than the one you have suggested

Add anyone at the expense of Johnson and you have your team.

Could both Johnson and Hogg go out with Tait and Noffke in and Symonds and Clarke bowling part-time spin better than hogg can, with a team like this

Hayden
Jaques
Ponting
Hussey
Clarke
Symonds
Gilchrist
Noffke
Lee
Clark
Tait

If Hayden doesn't pull up M.Hussey to open and D.Hussey up to no.5 with Clarke at 4

Good Team

I would open with Rogers if Hayden is not fit
