Hope Tait lets em rip at 100mph and prove once and for all to the Aussie selectors that he is the man for the job with Brett Lee

I think everyone knows that and watching RP Singh having no trouble whatsoever with Johnson only confirms it.

Unfortunately play was not able to get under way at the scheduled time of 6:30 AEST due to torrential rain, however we have until 8:25pm AEST to get a game underway.

Welcome to a rainy evening here at the Gabba, where the XXXX Gold Qld Bulls are hoping to take on the Southern Redbacks in the second round of the KFC Big Bash Twenty20 series.

# 2008-01-04 20:01
Covers are coming off now
# 2008-01-04 20:00
The latest announcement is that we're aiming to commence play at 8:25 AEST, which will leave us with a 5 over-per-side match. There is still some slight drizzle, but we've been told the players will play through it, assuming it doesn't get any harder.

FFS as if 20/20 wasn't a big enough joke. 5 overs a side makes a game? How incredibly stupid.
