Maybe after a few too many beers but not his bowling action surely..
John Bracewell had no respect as a cricketer and he hasn't any as a coach either..

After watching the test in Sri Lanka (Sri Lanka v England) and watching Murali bowl, Tait's action shouldn't even be close to being questioned.

As they used to chant in Bay 13 when Bracewell came onto bowl
"Bracewell's a banker" - i'm sure the mods won't let me swear

Great South Australian fast bowler was the first to be called for chucking in the late 19th century
Ian Meckliff in the mid twentieth century
Now Shaun wild thing Tait has been quiered over his legitimacy in the early twenty first century
Bowlers have been getting branded and or indicted for chucking over the last 3 centuries
However all previous percieved chuckers have to be pardoned, all current percieved chuckers
must be exempted, the rulings need to be re-modified because no one in the past and certainly
no one in the future with a suspect action should ever be called for chucking as long as the
worlds current greatest wicket taking bowler is allowed to continue to bowl.
If the Kandyman can....

Thats a good point there mal. Can point the finger with the greatest bowler in the world being a chucker...

Given the line in the sand that Murali has drawn, it will be very difficult to call a bowler a thrower for a long time.
The Kiwis need to try anyhting they can to unsettle this Australian side..fair or foul.
but.....
I definately thought I saw a slight change in Taits action just prior to release. The fact that he has had elbow problems, he might have modified his action to take pressure off the elbow. No chucking but definately different imho.

Blues - I agree. I saw a slight change in the action too. But only in slow mo, which we all know magnifies things.
Pretty hard for him to be chucker though. Actually, maybe we should ask Thommo his opinion seeing as he had a similar action.

Matt it seems it came up as a Dorothy Dixer at yesterday's press conference, and from a Kiwi reporter.

As Taity implied in todays tiser that the should watch the ball more. The Black caps have brown stains in their daks after the other night and are just trying to deflect the attention away from their own obvious problems.
shoulder arms to this one shaun and then knock their blocks off tonight...........

I reckon the Kiwi top order are real happy with their coaches big mouth, reckon Tait might crack over 160 today somehow

Well last time I checked the laws around the straightening of a bowlers arm hand been relaxed to about 15 degrees.....I cant remember why that was, oh thats right so that the greatest bowler in the history of cricket would not offically be a chucker...good to see that has worked well.

The only part of his arm action I thought (and still think) stood out was his wrist action. And the laws of cricket of course have got nothing to do with what the wrist does.

No way! Just another bloke with a unique action that hasn't been coached out of him as a young bloke.
The people who voted yes in the Tiser either don't know anything about cricket or are whinging poms or sheep fancier kiwis.

Get it right, didn't the poll just say does Tait chuck, course he chucks, everytime he fields the ball in the outfield he chucks it in, doesn't bowl it in, they all just got confused, every bowler chucks, have to really spell it out in these polls
