No cricket

Postby gadj1976 » Sat Dec 08, 2007 6:17 pm

It's early December, and for a week or so, we've had no cricket. Normally everything is under way, either at test match level or one dayers.

Sat arvo, early December, and no cricket on TV or radio!

This year there seems to be a significant delay between matches.

What has happened to the programming this season?!

What rock have you been under??

Two threads have covered this topic already, Not to mention several articles in the print media and on cricinfo.com

In a nutshell CA wanted to India to play there tests agaisnt us now (Dec). India, for a variety of reasons (esp to flex their $$$$ muscle at CA) said nup we're playing Pakistan at home in Dec we'll play our test against you in January.

So everything has been pushed back by a month.

However it doesn't explain why now would be a perfect time to promote the shield right now.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
