Two bowlers down and protecting their place on the ladder. Tassie took a fair while yesterday and I believe that it's a tit-for-tat measure.

Good batting practice for our boys on a dead deck.

Interesting to see the NZ boys training on the WACA Ground this morning. Their fielding drills are helter-skelter compared to what we are all used to and their accuracy at the stump in drills is just a delight to watch ... and their typically Kiwi talk whilst doing them LOL.

WA 2/327
MARSH 46*
HUSSEY 53*

Im still perplexed
Sure they are 2 good bowlers down
But with an attack of
MACGOFFIN
INNESS
WATES
VOGES
Why not at least declare 425 up with 50 overs to go
Surely worth a gamble as INNESS/MACGOFFIN would bowl at leat 30 overs between them if required

NS + VI are about a game clear of WA on the ladder ??? about 20 each points
WA on about 14 odd points ???
What the....

Pretty generous declaration from Langer. Tassie only need 522 in a whole session

As Rod said only 522 required off approximately 35 overs
Disgraceful

Moo Moo Moosings

A great result for Victoria and NSW. Tassie can't bowl teams out, WA are also starting to struggle in this regard and really rely on Hogg. NSW's batting looks a bit suspect so if SA can fix theirs a surprise Moo Moo final appearance could be on the cards. Qld appear to have given up too much of a start.

Vic will make the final
NSW the most likely opponent
SA the next best bet
WA have points on the board but I expect Voges to see some international action soon and the attack looks suspect
TAS can't bowl sides out at home or away
Qld injuries have derailed their season

Victoria to defeat NSW in the final for mine.

regards,

REB

Your surprise is a delight to see there rodney. Why not the Redbacks as a mid table option with a silly chance of a final appearance? True, the batting has stunk but the last two matches have seen a bit of a turn around, even though the Warriors win required a hefty input from Boof.

On this site there has been plenty of support for Robert Plant and Daniel Christian can also play a bit, the batting suddenly looks a little less brittle. The attack with the inclusion of Tait and Rofe also looks more menacing.

While the backs have been ordinary with the blade this season perhaps a few good scores can turn the season around a bit and give the bowlers something to bowl to...I believe this has already begun to happen.

regards,

REB
