SANGAKARRA DOES IT

Postby mal » Tue Dec 04, 2007 9:17 pm

History is made for the second time in Kandyland
SANGAKARRA is the first batsman in test history to score 150 in 4 consecutive test matches
Others on 3
HAMMOND
BRADMAN
ABBAS
NAZAR

Just before the 150 was a beezare incident
The players were all lying on the ground to avoid a bee swarm !
I wonder if the 'B' grade attack attracted them !

At the time of posting Sanga has 918 runs @ 230 ave in 2007

What a player

Spot on Mal this bloke is a little beauty and his 'keeping ain't bad either in fact it is very good.

I rate Kumar very highly, far higher than Pietersen....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

What a player.

As i said on countless other threads, one of my favourite players in world cricket. Was a terrific innings, the only century for the test so far. played some wonderful shots. Was dropped on 98 by Belll. Dead set sitter.

On a side note, has now scored a century against every test playing nation i believe. Only the 9th to do it (I think)

I seem to want to throw out Gary Kirsten's name, but I don't think he played against the Banglas.

Think Ricky can throw away the number 1 ranking for this year, this guy is in such rare form and looks batting look too easy, think there is alot more runs to come off his bat before this summers through
