Tim May in the 1993 Ashes Series

Whenever the 1993 Ashes Series comes up, you generally associate it for "The ball of the century" or perhaps Graham Gooch being dismissed handled the ball. Or just simply another domination in the 16 consecutive years Australia held the Ashes. The series was also what probably was Tim Mays' best Test series he had.

The first one that gets Gatting is an offies dream. Gets up above the eyes and drifts away, drawing the batsman fwd and then dips and turns sharply to do him in flight and hit middle peg.

Was a ripper wasn't it. Gatting copped a couple of beauties in that series :lol: :lol:

I thought Maysie was a brilliant bowler.I used to get square at Adelaide Oval(gee how spoilt are we watching cricket there every year ) we he was on and marvel at the drop/loop he got ..Coaching book stuff
