I have self appointed myself as the assistant coach to Mark Sorrel
I have decided to assist the team with my vast infinite cricketing wisdom
This is what I would ask to the players after the 2 losses to VI in 2007-2008

" NO SIDE CHASING RUNS IN A O/D GAME SHOULD LOSE UNLESS BOWLED OUT."

" NEXT TIME WE CHASE LETS PRETEND THE GAME IS 48 OVERS NOT 50 OVERS."

" WELL DONE ON THE IMPROVED BATTING EFFORT IN THE O/D GAME , WE UMMMM PLAYED SHOTS!"

" DERRRRRRRRRRRRRR WE PLAY BETTER IN O/D CRICKET BECAUSE WE PICK ONE SPINNER."

" CAM BORGAS YOU CAN ONLY IMPROVE ON YOUR 1ST 3 DIGS....."

" COSSIE KEEP YOUR chinS UP AFTER 3 DUBIOUS UMPIRING DECISIONS...use your f...g bat !!!"



This is the most important message I would re-iterate for the next pura cup games
It seems there are a few players who are playing for thier spots when in the middle at this stage.
That pressure is causing below par performances + the team is losing its way
I would say this

" OK LADS A 5 GAME ULTIMATUM, NO BATSMAN WILL BE DROPPED FOR THE NEXT 5 PURA CUP GAMES ON THE PROVISO YOU GO OUT AND BE POSITIVE AND PLAY YOUR SHOTS.
ANY PLAYER PLAYING FOR HIMSELF AND PLAYS NEGATIVELY WILL BE DROPPED BEFORE THE 5 GAME CLAUSE
I WANT YOU TO PUT THE OPPOSITION UNDER PRESSURE WHEN WE ARE BATTING.
THATS ALL CHAPS SEEYA AT TRAINING."


What I wont tell the players is that I will approach the selectors and ask them to play 3 quicks in the next pura cup game and drop a spinner
